These quizzes are free to use in pub quizzes, trivia quizzes, organisational events and team-building, but are not to be sold or published, which includes not posting them on other websites, thank you.

These are the quiz questions. Here are the quiz answers with the questions. A link to the quiz answers also follows the questions below.

Question 18 was replaced (15 Dec 2007) due to complexity and variations (the European ruling Habsberg family ruled at various times a lot more than Spain as suggested) of reforming a simple question and answer. Question 33 was also clarified. (Thanks D Albury).

Question 8 was corrected (10 Mar 2007) to 'equilibrist' instead of 'equilibris', and Question 42 was clarfied (7 Apr 2007) to refer to 'tribe of people' instead of simply 'where'. (Thanks M Weetch)

Question 23 was replaced by another (15 Sep 2006) due to the complexity of interpreting proximity of planets to Earth. Proximities are always changing because all planets are on their own quite different orbits round the Sun. Incidentally Venus has the closest orbit to that of Earth's orbit. (Ack S Edwards for pointing out the anomalies.)
