Good inspirational and motivational posters reinforce learning and education, boost morale, and support personal development - for teams and groups, for yourself on a personal basis: A poster with a powerful message above your make-up or shaving mirror helps set you up for the whole day, and over a period of time can help actually change your life. Words are extremely powerful things.
Funny posters also help lift morale and create talking points in businesses, organizations and offices.
Posters with famous positive quotes and sayings are inspirational and motivational for staff and customers, and help to lift beliefs, values, expectations and reputations.
Use posters that are appropriate for your audience. Humour helps to bring humanity and fun to offices and work and educational situations, although a poster that is funny to you might not be funny to someone else, so use your judgement. A few of these posters are more risky than others - be careful where and how you use these particular posters. We accept no responsibility for any offence or liabilities arising from inappropriate use of any of any of these posters, especially the sardonic and rude funny ones. For example if your boss has absolutely no sense of humour then displaying the BOHICA poster at your work-station might not be a great idea, especially when he finds out what it means. Similarly, there are better places to put the S2D2 poster than the windscreen of the CEO's Bentley, how ever tempted you might be. On the other hand, if that's how folk feel, arguably the boss needs to know.

ERIC is an acronym for the notion that: Emotional Reaction Impedes Control. In other words, think before you speak, and similar concepts of keeping calm under pressure. This ERIC poster was kindly contributed by G Chamberlain, the likely originator of the ERIC maxim. The poster and the ERIC maxim are useful for illustrating that emotional responses tend to hinder rational thinking and behaviour.
